Congratulations to Karess Dias and Amy Joseph!
Court proceedings are the last resort and alternative dispute resolution methods are increasing in popularity. The Ashurst Negotiations competition is a method for students to identify themselves with this emerging area.
The Competition is a simulated negotiation of a legal dispute in which teams of two negotiators represent the two parties to the dispute. The objective of each team in this competition is to achieve an outcome that satisfied their client’s goals. An expert knowledge of the law is not required for this competition due to the focused goals of each client.
